Herman provides real estate development and brokerage services from project inception through delivery. Herman has an interesting background of Mechanical Engineering, technical construction and real estate. He has more than twenty years of experience on technically distinctive projects including research laboratories, cGMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, data centers, hospitals, and corporate and medical office buildings.
Prior to founding Verity Commercial, Herman was a top producer at Scheer Partners, Inc. and was one of the first employees and later shareholder of DPR Construction. He and helped grow DPR to $2 billion in revenue and 15 offices around the country in eight years. He founded the Fairfax, VA office for DPR Construction and facilitated the local office build up from 1 to 65 people and from $10M to $115M in construction volume in five years. Herman also founded Affiliate Bridge, a successful affiliate marketing internet business.

Barbara Bechtle has over twenty years of diversified commercial real estate brokerage experience and success in Northern Virginia. Ellie’s focus is Landlord representation for leasing and selling office space in Northern Virginia. In 2009 Ellie completed 28 lease transactions with over 37,000 sf and 12 sales transactions totaling more than $8.4 million for the year.
Prior to Verity, Ellie Bechtle, along with her partner Barbra Bechtle, were with the 108 year-old Randall Hagner Company, now called Woodmark Commercial. Ellie works closely with the Owner Occupant and Office Condominium Experts at Verity Commercial. Ellie’s services include leasing and selling of office, warehouse and retail transactions.
Ellie brings to the team a B.S. from Penn State University and twelve years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Public Relations.
Her talents include excellent follow up and servicing skills, as well as creative marketing solutions, which helped her achieve several awards at both at Randall Hagner and Woodmark.

Gianpaolo provides Tenant and Landlord Representation as well as extensive marketing skills for his clients. Gianpaolo’s tenacity, persistence, and positive demeanor make him a valuable member of the Verity Team. Prior to joining the Verity Team, Gianpaolo was with Marathon Realty and worked extensively in the medical office market.
Gianpaolo received his degree from Old Dominion University in Interdisciplinary Studies. Gianpaolo worked for Universal Music Enterprises in Los Angeles.

Zeena provides Client Services support and serves as the liaison between the clients and the managing principals. She leverages the efforts of Verity Principals and agents by providing Commercial Real Estate transaction support, researching new business opportunities, and also provides communication and support to clients.
Zeena obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree from George Mason University and has worked managing business development for L-3 Communications, a Fortune 500 Government Contractor and OTJ Architects, a commercial architecture firm in Washington, DC.
Robert M. Long
Bob is a real estate industry veteran with over 30 years experience in general contracting, development, and brokerage in the metropolitan DC region. An architect by degree, Bob brings a design and engineering perspective to assist clients with their program requirements and budget constraints to ensure project deadlines are met.
He has a wealth of experience managing design and construction of base building, tenant fit-up, and land development projects, including many highly complex and demanding assignments. In addition, with his property development background Bob knows the entitlement process and permitting requirements that must be attained prior to starting construction, which is critical to the success of build-to-suit and design-build projects.
As a real estate broker for the past eight years, Bob has directly participated in numerous land sales, office condo sales, and lease transactions. Prior to that, Bob held management and executive level positions for private development and general contracting companies, including Westbrook Partners, Fremont Properties, Abrams & Associates, and OMNI Construction. While at Westbrook’s affiliate, Terrabrook, Bob managed the planning, design, construction, and successful delivery of more than 1,000,000 sq. ft. of new office buildings, 730 multi-family units, a restaurant park, and major road improvements in the Reston Town Center in a span of just over two years.
Bob has received his LEED AP accreditation, and he is a past member of various NAIOP, MNCBIA, Reston Town Center, and Washingtonian Center committees.
Stefan has over ten years of experience in the commercial real estate field and is recognized for his expertise, integrity and tenacity. He has been a valued advisor to companies of all sizes as well as investors and small business owners and has earned their loyalty and respect.
Stefan has been involved in excess of 200 commercial real estate transactions valued at over $70 million. He has experience in handling a variety of transactions such as the leasing and sales of office, flex/warehouse, retail space and land. Stefan also has experience with more specialized properties such as retail centers, churches, and automotive use facilities.
