Boss Level Builders: An Editorial by Polina Tymoshenko

Verity’s Polina Tymoshenko shares her insights as to how female professionals are reshaping data center construction and challenging norms.

Being a woman in data center construction means breaking barriers in an industry traditionally dominated by men and doing so with confidence, skill, and vision. It’s about bringing a unique perspective to high-stakes projects that demand precision, collaboration, and rapid innovation. Every day offers an opportunity to challenge outdated norms, lead with both technical expertise and emotional intelligence, and help shape the future of critical infrastructure. It’s empowering to contribute to a sector that keeps the digital world running, and to do it while paving the way for more women to take their place in this evolving space.

With that in mind, being part of the Verity family means upholding our founders’ legacy. It is a higher level of professionalism. It is not only about being good at what you do, but also about staying true to yourself, standing by your decisions, and always being passionate about what you do.

This warm, inclusive energy was especially apparent at our 2025 Team Celebration. This event gave me a perspective I always hoped for and didn’t know I needed. Seeing everyone, connecting with fellow colleagues, and supporting one another at their highs and lows was truly rewarding. Finally, hearing everyone speak, especially Herm and Ken, made me proud and grateful to be here. Verity means Honor and Integrity to me.
