CareersVerity is a young and growing commercial real estate advisory firm providing brokerage, investment and project/construction management services in the Mid-Atlantic region. We are looking for dynamic individuals to fill the following positions to help grow our expanding business.

 

Commercial Real Estate Advisor

Work in a supportive, collaborative environment with significant existing deal flow and help contribute to our expanding client base.

 

Required Experience: Four years-plus of Commercial Real Estate experience, preferably in Northern Virginia and Montgomery County, Maryland.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  •  Identifying, pursuing and closing high-value relationships (through networking, candidate relationships, telemarketing, participating in Verity seminars and outreach programs). Our sweet spot is 5,000 to 25,000 sq. ft,, and you’ll find that while our capabilities are ideal for these mid-sized projects, they have broad applications.
  • “Flying the flag” and “spreading the word.” You’ll be expected to attend events and network throughout the DC Metro region spreading the Verity message.
  • Managing your clients. We have a support team and processes to assist you, but you will be responsible for managing the business you close.

Commercial Real Estate Investment Sales & Acquisitions Professional

 

Work in a supportive, collaborative environment with significant existing deal flow and help contribute to our expanding client base.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with firm Principals to identify, pursue and close investment opportunities for our clients as well as internal investments. Our sweet spot is the $2 million to $50 million mid-market deals in office and industrial.
  • Leverage the resources of our brokerage and development management teams to identify and analyze investment potential.
  • Analyze investment return and pro formas using Verity’s Argus system
  • Identify, establish and maintain debt and equity sources.
  •  “Flying the flag” and “spreading the word.” You’ll be expected to attend events and network throughout the DC Metro region spreading the Verity message.

Cost Estimator/Analyst

 

This position is part of an integrated team serving a government agency in the District of Columbia in the management and implementation of their capital program. You should be experienced in conceptual and detailed cost estimating for building construction projects. This position will require communication skills and the ability to work with designers, tenants and management. These projects will include commercial interior renovations, additions and new facilities. Responsibilities will include estimating new projects as well as evaluating change orders on existing contracts. Applicant should have 10 years of experience in cost estimating and maintain a CCEA professional credential.

Schedule Manager  

This position is part of an integrated team serving a government agency in the District of Columbia in the management and implementation of their capital program. You should be experienced in conceptual and detailed scheduling for building construction projects. These projects will include commercial interior renovations, additions and new facilities. Applicant should have 5 years of experience in scheduling, be proficient in Primavera, Microsoft Project, and other project controls. PMP®, Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), and PMI-SP® professional credentials are preferred.
