Verity Commercial Attends Junior Achievement Washington Business Hall of Fame

Verity Commercial attended the Junior Achievement Washington Business Hall of Fame on November 29, 2017.

 

The event raised over $1.4 million to support the Junior Achievement literacy program for K-12 students in the Washington, DC metro area.

 

Over 26,000 local children will benefit from Junior Achievement’s program.

 

The Washington Business Hall of Fame is an annual event honoring business leaders and entrepreneurs who have made a significant contribution to the local area.

 

This year’s Laureates were:

• Philip D. M. de Picciotto, Founder & President – Octagon, Inc.
• Michael N. Harreld, Immediate Past President – PNC Bank, Greater Washington Area
• Gracia C. Martore, Retired President & CEO – TEGNA Inc.
• Christopher J. Nassetta, President & CEO – Hilton
