Verity Commercial helped tenant secure retail space at The Wharf, a growing waterfront community in Southwest, Washington, DC. Oyku Hanna of Verity Commercial represented Bella Moda Salon & Spa in the deal.
Bella Moda Salon & Spa, currently in Potomac, MD, is expanding their business by opening a second location. With Oyku’s assistance, Bella Moda Salon & Spa obtained retail space in phase one of The Wharf’s development.
Strategically located along on the Potomac River in Southwest DC, The Wharf is a mixed-use waterfront community on 24 acres of land and 50 acres of waterfront. The development plan for phase one and two includes office, commercial, retail, restaurants, hotels, and residential, entertainment venues, and marinas.
“The key to securing this deal at the prestigious Wharf was understanding the current market conditions and tenant’s needs and wants as it relates to their business strategy, along with understanding the landlord’s goals. Being aware of both the tenant’s and landlord’s objectives and aligning them with their respective business goals was essential to closing this deal,” says Oyku Hanna.
Bella Moda Salon & Spa is thrilled to be a part of the emerging Wharf community and excited for their, and The Wharf’s, grand opening in October 2017.
