UNC Lineberger opened its Advanced Cellular Therapeutics Facility approximately five miles off the main campus. The two-story renovation accommodates a Cell Therapy Center. The facility has clinical laboratories, environmental rooms, six class-10,000-clean rooms, and support spaces. HVAC and plumbing modifications included lab gases, reverse osmosis water, eight RTUs, lab exhaust fans and a cryogenic storage system. Verity’ project management team offered preconstruction and construction management services as well as BIM planning, cost, and quality control.
